About Speedgoat
Speedgoat® builds real-time test systems to prototype control designs and test controllers. Control design engineers use these systems to explore and refine control algorithms through rapid control prototyping (RCP), while integration and test teams use them for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing (HIL) to validate ECUs and complete systems under realistic conditions.
Speedgoat test systems run control algorithms or real-time plant models directly from MathWorks® MATLAB® and Simulink®. Engineers can connect sensors, actuators, ECUs, and vehicle communication networks to evaluate controller behavior in closed loop and understand how systems interact long before full hardware is available.
Because the same test systems support control prototyping, controller validation, and system-level HIL testing, teams can move from early control design exploration to large-scale test benches using the same models, generated code, and test assets. This creates a continuous workflow integrated with MATLAB® and Simulink®, helping teams iterate faster, identify issues earlier, and reuse models and tests across projects.
